hris went to Guam this week for work and he was able to bring Dan along to help out. I hope they get their work done and have time to dive and play!
Meanwhile, Grandma jumped on a plane and came over to help me out. Darla and Dexter LOVE Grandma.
(My mom did not like her picture in her night gown so I removed it)
The babies hung out with me in bed. It was so fun...we just missed Daddy though.Notice Dexter's hair cut? No more old man hair.
I love Dexter's face here.
Darla was having fun smashing Dex in the face. Sometimes she acts like he does not exist.
We took the babes to Alligator pond and they loved the water. It was windy and cold but they were so relaxed in the little waves.
Dont worry...I put sunblock where the sun dont usually shine!
They are so cute!
Darla LOVES Jesus.
Who is taller?
Who is happier?
Darla can roll! Well, they both can but I only have Darla on video.

Dexter was so excited to get a kiss from the beautiful Callie!
We went to 2 weddings on the same night. Agata and Bill's ceremony was on the beach in San Pedro (no photo yet) and then Kristina and Clark had their reception at Dukes in Malibu...
The babies met auntie Brianna at her birthday BBQ (she looks like my sister but she is really another good friend that I have known from High school). My friends Natalie and Marc were there as well (I suck at taking pictures)
Dexter hung out with his best friend cousin Julian...
Julian didn't even notice Dexter was in the room...

We all rode the Merry Go Round...
What a trip! We also saw grandpa Thompson, auntie Monica, all of Chris's family but I think those pictures are on a different hard drive?
We were so pooped after all the travels, we might wait a WHOLE month before we take another trip. Why even unpack?

Maternity Pics by Mark Lee of Holladay Photo
I seriously loved being pregnant! Maybe not the first couple of months when I could not eat food (my first love in life), but later when I had the coolest oven in front of me that cooked Darla and Dexter to perfection.
Mark Lee took these pics and they make me so happy (I borrowed then from Holladayphoto.com in the blog section). I have never liked a picture of myself. Maybe it is because I was made fun of all my whole life for having buck teeth (seriously...kids are cruel) or maybe because my eyes shut half way in every picture I ever take. Kids in Jr. high would ask me if I was high in my pictures and I seriously didnt know what that meant.
I dont know if Mark knew that I was going to dress like a wierdo to take these pictures but I dont know how else to dress? This day was so fun. Thanks for taking the coolest pictures ever Mark!!NO...that was not a beluga whale in the water silly...that was me!

4th of July Beach Day With the Nuggets
Chris (yes I am posting this cuz you all know Jackie never gets to it) was watching the nuggets while Mom went to work and after bath time he tried to find good outfits to look all pretty and cute for when Mom gets home...

It was an honest mistake, the green stripes looked unisex, but the gathered neck and sleeves screamed, "I'm a sissy!"
The yellow cart works great for transporting the nuggets across the sand, a bit more development and I think we'll have a nice covered wagon for the nuggets to protect them from the sun.
