Its new years eve. This is the second yea on a row that i got off of work at 11pm and am now driving from one side of the island to the other to get home by midnight so that i can kiss my sweet husband who is folding laundry and wish him HAPPY NEW YEAR! It is raining and there are so many fireworks going off across the whole island that i can barely drive through the smoke. The rain isn't helping any either. I tried taking a picture of the sky but my phone camera is not that magical. You can't see a darn thing.

Right next to Ono Yo is the Cheeseburger in Paradise truck. Burgers and fries and plate lunches for about $7!

I have no clue why Darla likes the Tarzan look? She always slips her arm out of her shirt or bathing suit to complete the one shoulder look. Strange?!?!

And yes....that is Darla's first and last experience with Cheeto's. She was sick of her broccoli smoothies and decided to indulge in the finer things in life.


The Zoo was super fun and the Tigers were out. I never see them! The Chimps did not do anything nasty that day....What a relief!


See life park is $10 this month with your Foodland card. The Dolphins splashed water all over us and soaked us. Darla and Dex were a little offended at first.

We have been at the beach almost everyday and it is so fun getting in the water with them! I will post the pics of Chris and Dex surfing. It was cool.

After I streamed it Darla loved it. Dex... not so much. Actually may be the most grossed out face I've seen. But Darla... ate those leaves like a pro. Even got some heart.

Chris Made The Homepage of A Website

There is a company called Nortek that makes sensors that Chris uses for work to measure waves and currents. This is a picture of him deploying one of the sensors on a tripod mount that he designed for Hanauma Bay. The picture was on the Homepage of the Nortek website (http://www.nortekusa.com). Pretty cool.

Quick overview of our Tokyo Weekend where we met Katie and Brent for their 12hr layover in Tokyo. We just thought they need some company...

Thanks Jared and Christy for letting us stay at your super cool house. We still might add the walk through video we took of the house. It really was cool. I'd have to raise the door jams a bit so we would quit bonking our heads. Other than that...did I mention it was a cool house.
